PassAlong on iPhone Application List Aug 11, 2009 blog.atj.me/id/450 iphone, iphone-dev, ipod-touch, passalong, projects iPhone Application List Logo iPhone Application List was kind enough to list PassAlong on their fine site. A sincere and warm thanks to them for helping me get the word out about my nascent app. iPhone Application List Comments James Smiley on 19 Aug 2009 at 7:26 pm Adam: I just purchased the PassAlong v1.01 for my iPhone 3G. I have not been able to figure out how to use it for an email. I am not on twitter etc. The instructions say to find a contact and click on "Done". But, there is nothing that says "Done". Can you help? Thanks! Jim :) Adam on 20 Aug 2009 at 3:21 pm @James Smiley, The idea behind the app is to send snippets of information from one or more contacts. After choosing a contact, tap which information you would like to share (a phone number, e-mail address or anything else in their vCard). Once you have at least one piece of information selected, you will see a preview of the text to be copied and the 'Done' button. Tap the 'Done' button and then tap 'Send new e-mail message' which will launch the iPhone Mail application. Tap anywhere in the message body and then tap 'Paste' to insert the selected data. Thanks for supporting PassAlong! Adam Comments are closed for this post.
